Mr McGrath is missing Year 6 and wanted to send a message to you all. He hopes you are well and that you are keeping safe and getting on with your schoolwork. He especially wants you to investigate the science topic.
Library Visit - Y6 visited the library again, bringing cards from when we first enrolled in Year 4. We all checked out our half-term reading books and were delighted to then receive an email from the librarian praising our attitude and behaviour.
Mental Health Week - All week Year 6 have been learning strategies to improve our mental health. The final activity on Friday was playing games outside where we learnt that things are easier with the help of friends.
Water Workshops - Sarah from United Utilities helped us understand how to conserve water. We carried out an experiment to see what would flush successfully down toilets and what would block them.

Adding Suspense - In English, we read the children's book Not Now Bernard and rewrote it as a suspenseful horror story, featuring wolves. Then in art, we designed a front cover for our new book.
