As Pope, Saint John Paul was Head of the Catholic Church from 1978 until his death in 2005.
His Feast Day is celebrated on 22nd October.
Year 6 Celebration of Saint John-Paul II
On Friday 20th October, Year 6 celebrated the Feast Day of Saint John Paul II, their class Saint.
The children were busy making information booklets about his life, and his beliefs for a fairer world. They also used their artistic skills to create their own little peg dolls.
What a wonderful way to celebrate Saint Jean Paul II and all he represents!
