Nursery
We are always discovering...
As your child turns 3, they become ready to move into our 'big room'.
The 3 and 4 year olds are looked after in this room by our qualified and experienced staff. Learning here is a mix of adult-led and child-initiated with lots of our most exciting learning experiences being guided by the unique interests of our children.
Transition into a new classroom can be difficult for young children which is why we spend lots of time preparing them for the change. Children who are already part of our 2's provision are able to access this new setting during transition mornings in the lead up to their move. Children who join our school at 3, are invited to spend time meeting their new friends and teachers before they formally begin Nursery / Pre-School.
Sessions for Nursery run every morning 8.45-11.45am. Sessions for Pre-School run every afternoon 12.15-3.15pm.
In addition, some children stay for longer than their 15 hours, either because their parents pay for 'wraparound' or because the family is entitled to the 30 hours funding.
