How we teach Phonics at OLASP, using SfA Phonics
Our Phonics & Early Reading Lead works closely with all staff delivering phonics lessons using the Success for All Phonics scheme, to ensure continuity and progression for our children as they progress in their phonics and early reading journey at Our Lady & St Patrick's.
Staff also undertake regular training and updates, to ensure their skills in phonics teaching are up to date, and staff work closely both within and between the Early Years and Keys Stage One teams to share and disseminate good practice in Phonics.
