At Our Lady and St Patrick's Catholic Primary School we like to ensure that we hold current and valuable information on the best way that we can support a child with a medical condition.
Asthma is one of the most common illnesses that our children have. As a parent, you should have received an Asthma Action Plan to fill in and return to school; this should best inform our staff team how to support your child with their asthma, if their are any changes to your child’s condition, please inform school as soon as possible. If you require an Asthma Action Plan for your child, please feel free to contact school or download the form myasthmaplan.
Health advice | Asthma + Lung UK follow this link to the Asthma UK web page for expert advice and information. Whether you’ve just been diagnosed with asthma, you’ve just had an asthma attack, you want to support someone who has the condition, or even if you’re not sure if you have asthma or not.
If your child has any other conditions, it is important that school are made aware of these as soon as possible, to ensure that your child’s medical and care needs are met. This will allow us to meet and discuss your child’s condition, gaining medical and parental input and construct a school care plan, where deemed necessary. All our plans are reviewed regularly and requested to be checked and signed by yourself, as the child’s parent.
Should you wish to discuss your child’s health conditions, please contact school on 01900 m812582 and ask to speak with Mrs Goodfellow in confidence.
