CAFOD - 'Brighten Up Harvest' Appeal
🧡 Each October, we celebrate Harvest with a special assembly in school.
🍂 The children learn some lovely harvest songs and we listen to scripture, reflect, sing and pray together, in celebration and thanks to God for all the goodness of the earth.
🤎 In addition, school staff kindly donate items for a harvest food hamper, which is donated to one of our families (name drawn at random).
🍁 This is also a special non-uniform day in school; we ask that children wear their very brightest clothes and make a donation of £1, to support CAFOD’s ‘Brighten up Harvest’ appeal.
🧡 CAFOD support children and families all over the world, who are living in crisis, poverty and hunger - we were delighted to raise £150, to support the work of CAFOD in making a difference to the lives of others in need.
