School Uniform Exchange - Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th July 2022
🌟 OLASP SCHOOL UNIFORM EXCHANGE!! 🌟
🔹In recent times, family budgets are being stretched to the limit - and we can all do with a little extra help.
🔹 With this in mind, we will make pre-used uniform items, in good condition, available to all our families, free of charge, before we finish for the summer. We hope this will assist you with the cost of school uniform for next year.
🔹 To facilitate this, we will not ask children to wear inform to school after Thursday 14th July. This will give you time to wash and hand in any unwanted uniform items, from Friday 19th July onwards.
🔹 All items donated will be available during the last three days of term (Monday 18th - Wednesday 20th July).
🔹 It’s simple - just bring in your pre-loved uniform and exchange it for the next size up! All items will be in good condition and free of charge - so why not come along and stock up for the year ahead?!
🔹 Good for our pockets - and good for the planet!!!

We will celebrate British Science Week in school from Monday 14th to Friday 18th March.
Just some of the exciting events we already have planned are:
WORLD BOOK DAY: Thursday 3rd March
📚 For World Book Day this year, our theme will be: 'Super Heroes Love to Read'!
📚 Children should wear their favourite super-hero costume for school and bring their favourite book to share with friends.
📚 We will also be organising an 'extreme read' competition - where children will be encouraged to send in photographs of themselves reading in the most extreme places or situations (obviously with supervision form their parents or carers!)
📚 Each class will also choose a special, fun activity from our World Book Day Bingo selection, to take part in on the day.
📚 We will also enjoy a visit from an author and a poet during this week so, all in all, this will be a fun and exciting week, which celebrates our love of reading at Our Lady & St Patrick's!
'Mary's Meals' Fundraising Event - January 2022
💙 Our charities and fundraising committee are organising a raffle and lucky hundred square next week in school, to raise funds for ‘Mary’s Meals’
💙 This is a charity that supports children across Africa, providing hungry children with life-changing school meals.
💙 Until the end of January, all donations are match-funded, so £1 becomes £2 and this means that £15.90 will feed TWO children for a whole year!
💙 Raffle tickets and a lucky number on the hundred square will each cost £1 - we would be delighted if you could help us to make a difference to the lives of children across Africa. Please support us if you can 🙏
💙 To find out more about ‘Mary’s Meals, please visit www.marysmeals.org.uk
💙 Donations of raffle prizes would also be gratefully received.
