Our Lady and St. Patrick's Catholic Primary School Part of the Mater Christi Multi-Academy Trust

Ofsted and Performance Data

What Ofsted say about our School:

" Pupils are happy at this vibrant and nurturing school. They know that staff care for them and will support them when needed."

" The school has high expectations for pupils’ achievement. Pupils achieve well, including those who are disadvantaged and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)."

" The school offers plentiful opportunities that pupils might not otherwise experience. For example, they visit museums, theatres and places further afield, such as castles and cities."

" These rich activities help to enhance pupils’ social awareness and their academic learning."

" A love of reading is fostered. The school has chosen texts carefully to include representation of the diverse population of modern Britain."

" Children in the early years hear a multitude of stories, songs and rhymes. This prepares them well for the phonics programme that begins at the start of the Reception Year."

" Pupils are kind and respectful towards others. Staff foster these attitudes from the start, in the provision for two-year-old children. These children learn quickly how to play and learn together.”

" The school works tenaciously to improve pupils’ levels of attendance. Well-coordinated and robust strategies have had a markedly positive impact on reducing pupils’ absence."

“ Staff enjoy working at the school. They are supported to fulfil their roles well. Staff appreciate the steps that the school takes for their well-being.”

School Performance Data

Please note: The Government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021-2022 academic year.

They have archived data from the 2018-2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

Ofsted Parent View

Ofsted Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of your child’s school, including:

 - how happy your child is at the school

 - how the school manages bullying or challenging behaviour

If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), we will ask how well the school supports them.

The questionnaire can be completed at any time - you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.

We will use your responses to help us plan inspections. The information you provide can:

- inform discussions inspectors have with school leaders during an inspection

 - help Ofsted decide when to inspect a school
