Welcome to Our Lady & St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Our Lady & St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School.

Our school is a happy, welcoming and inclusive community where every child is valued as a unique and precious gift from God. At the heart of everything we do is our mission to “recognise Christ in everyone as we grow together in faith and love to serve the community.”

We are proud of our strong Catholic identity and strive to ensure that faith is at the centre of school life. Through prayer, worship, our Catholic curriculum and our work within the wider community, we encourage our children to grow in their faith and develop a deep sense of love, compassion, respect and responsibility for others.

We are equally committed to providing an ambitious and inspiring education for every child. Our dedicated staff work hard to ensure that children are excited to learn, encouraged to be curious and supported to achieve their very best. We want every child to leave us with confidence, resilience, a love of learning and the knowledge that they can make a positive difference in the world around them.

Our school values of Love, Thankfulness, Forgiveness, Respect, Resilience and Responsibility underpin the way we live and learn together. We believe that strong relationships between children, staff, families and our wider community are fundamental to creating a school where everyone can flourish.

We are incredibly proud of our children and of the warm and supportive community we have built together. We value the partnership we share with our families and believe that when school and home work together, our children have the very best opportunity to thrive.

Whether you are already part of our school family or are considering joining us, I hope that our website gives you a flavour of what makes Our Lady & St Patrick’s such a special place.

Together, through faith, love and learning, we can help every child to flourish and become the very best version of themselves.

I look forward to welcoming you to our school!
